1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using My Aura Log (the App), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

My Aura Log is a digital journal and mood tracking app with journaling, mood and emotion tracking, optional AI insights, trend analysis, and optional paid premium features.

3. User Accounts and Data

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device access.
• Journal entries are stored locally on your device by default.
• Firebase is used for referral program features and analytics where applicable.
• You retain full ownership of your journal entries and personal data.
• You can export or delete your data at any time.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for illegal purposes.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass App security.
• Use premium features in ways that violate store or platform policies.
• Use the App to harm yourself or others.

5. AI Features

• AI insights are powered by OpenAI models.
• Journal text is sent for processing only when you request AI analysis.
• AI output is informational and is not medical advice.
• You can opt out of AI features at any time.

6. Premium Features and Billing

• Premium may be offered as lifetime purchase or recurring subscription.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled in your device settings.
• Purchases are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play using RevenueCat.
• Refunds are governed by Apple or Google policy, not processed directly by us.

7. Disclaimers

IMPORTANT: My Aura Log is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind, including uninterrupted availability, complete accuracy of AI-generated content, or compatibility with all devices.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability is limited to amounts paid by you for premium features, if any.

9. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You can delete your data through in-app Settings at any time.

10. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with OpenAI, RevenueCat, and Firebase. Use of those services is subject to their own policies and terms.

11. Notifications

• Optional reminders can be enabled in the App.
• Notifications can be disabled in your device settings at any time.
• We do not use notifications for unsolicited marketing.

12. Intellectual Property

• The App and its features are owned by My Aura Log.
• You may not copy, modify, or distribute the App except as allowed by law.
• Trademarks belong to their respective owners.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Updates are effective when posted, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance.

14. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time.
• We may suspend access for violations of these Terms.
• Applicable sections survive termination.

15. Geographic Restrictions

The App is available where legally permitted. Some features may vary by country, and you are responsible for local law compliance.

16. Children's Use

The App is not intended for children under 13 years old.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws without regard to conflict principles.
